Don't activate the photo gallery, it only has 20MB and that will fill up quick and they'll want us to buy more space so let's just leave that alone. (ninja edit: profile pics do not affect this, in case anyone asks)
Don't turn off the basic CSS unless you have something to replace it with, it makes the site go all wonky.
Yes I set one of the fonts to Impact, if you think it's a bit much feel free to change it.
If you come up with any other Admin tips add them to this thread and I'll combine them all into a sticky.
